Leading the user research department of the world’s largest football media platform, we are the central hub for understanding our 10+ million monthly active users. Managing a 9 people department, I plan, support and communicate qualitative and quantitative research to peers and C-Level from Product, Design, Marketing, Sales and Content.

I setup the first UX research framework in the company and established a culture around user inclusion within product, design and other departments. My growing responsibility included an increasing focus on acquiring premium talent and establishing user research as an essential base for user centric decision making across the company.

Being part of the Automotive division, I was planning, supervising and analyzing qualitative and quantitative user research, including eye tracking and usability testings. Organization of monthly cross-department usability testings.

Within the departments of social psychology and social neuroscience, I was preparing and supervising online and lab based studies, ran data analysis in R and SPSS and built a survey template in Inquisit Lab.

During my studies, I was working as an advertising writer for the Diemar, Jung & Zapfe advertising agency in Erfurt (2.5 years), as well as mjm.cc in Basel (3 years) and Eschnapur media production (6 months) in Leipzig and Axel Springer Verlag (2 months) in Berlin.

Social Reality Tour in Tanzania – 08 2012 – 12 2012

I was working on a CI and optimizing the project’s public relations. In addition, I was publishing photographs and articles on international web magazines in order to acquire money to support families living in the slums in the Kilimanjaro area.
